Trilogy offers unique jazz perspectives on traditional tunes and other selections often associated with iconic artists such as Marian Anderson, Billie Holiday, and Lena Horne. Their sensitive musical interplay is most evident while performing creative new treatments of the Great American Songbook, spirituals, and songs from Americana. Fraedrich and Nalker are recently retired from The U.S. Army Band, “Pershing’s Own”, while Rheams is currently serving as a Sergeant Major in the unit. Trilogy performs around the National Capitol region and has released two recordings, ‘Come Sunday’ and the critically acclaimed, ‘All Through The Night’, which expanded the group to a quintet for some selections.
